[Since today happens to be a pleasant, breezy day, Roku has gone out to take advantage of this and practice some airbending. He's hanging out at the barracks, AWAY from the house so he doesn't end up doing something to the house like last time. He's been going through all the motions and actually making some progress, able to make more powerful gust with more control. Though, maybe the wind might be helping him along but it's not a bad thing. It's like an invisible teacher.]

Yeah. That's the one. See, I'm not a bender like you guys. So I can't just put my weapons away if I want to do some spirit-y magic stuff. So I gotta make this stuff work with my weapons. You see where I'm getting at?

Well, a little. I've got a nice fire sword trick going. Not sure how useful it is yet, since... getting hit by a sword hurts whether it's on fire or not.

[Fortunately he spent some time practicing this the other day, so he's fairly confident. He pulls out his sword and after a second to focus, he summons up a burst of flame to surround his blade. He gives it a few swings to prove he can keep the flame following his blade and then brings it over his head and down at the ground. In the middle of the arc, the flames release from the blade and go spinning forward for a few feet before dispersing.]

Not bad. For someone that's not a firebender.

Well it's not firebending anyway. It's just using fire, that's all.

Oh don't take it the wrong way. I was still impressed, really.

Have you spoken to all of the spirits?

Only wind, fire, and lightning. [He offers a shrug.] I don't know if I'll have time to learn anymore. I keep pretty busy. [He needs to stop offering to reach something to every pretty girl he sees.]

Well, it's about the living arrangements. We've all been talking and we think it's about time there was a change. Things can't keep on going the way they have been since you arrived. So we're kicking you off the couch.
