[Roku had returned from the draft when the evacuation was called. As much as he wanted to help those who were left behind...he knew he wasn't physically or mentally able to do much else at this point. He would have just been a burden to the others. The decision still left a heavy feeling of guilt on him, like he was abandoning people. He was the Avatar, being unable to save others is sort of not an option.

He wasn't really paying attention to where he was actually going this entire time and somehow found himself...literally lost. Where did all this fog come from? He tries to retrace his steps, but all he kept seeing was trees. Well it's safe to assume he's in some part of the forest.

Wait, he's a firebender, he can just light his way through this forest. Right. Course when he gets a little bit of light around the area, he jumps at what the light revealed in the shadows. That...that really wasn't something he needed to be seeing after a draft. Was that thing laughing at him....? He shuffles around the forest for a bit, before pulling out his journal.]

[Voice]

Hey uh...quick question to anyone who knows this. When people...die here, they come back alive after a week right? And not as ghosts...right?

[all the while he asks about this, some of the ghosts decide it would be funny to throw things at him. Toilet paper, seriously? What is going on around here? At some point he's going to remember he had brought his glider and find his way back to the village and to House 56. He might look slightly mummified with all those toilet paper thrown at him.]

The draf-- What was it like this time? How many got hurt?

It...[A lot of people suffered. He didn't really want to think about those who didn't make it or those that were still there]

This was my draft, so I don't really know how they are. But we had to fight some sort of sickness that turned people into...flesh-eaters or I think someone called them zombies?

I'm sorry that your first was this violent. --Zombies?

[Tsuzuki's wings start to twitch behind him.]

But I had friends on that draft. And they haven't come back yet. Do you think they got infected?

I...maybe they just haven't been evacuated yet. They've been evacuating people since yesterday, so I'm sure they'll show up soon.

[A pause] Maybe I saw them while I was there. What were their names?

Maybe. I hope so.

[He hates asking. But if he doesn't, it will just eat him up.] Have you seen someone called Draco? Draco Malfoy. Or Saori?

[A frown.]

...I don't think I ran into anyone with those names. I'm sorry.

It's okay. You had enough on your plate as it was.

[He's sad that he hasn't found out anything about them, but he tries his best to keep his voice even.]

And it's good that you got away.

[His attempts to try and reassure Roku only makes him feel even more guilty that he couldn't do more for everyone.]

...Hopefully your friends will get away too. [There's a small hopeful smile on his face. He feels terrible, but he's going to avoid showing that if he can.]

I'm sure they did. They're strong.

[Forced cheer is still cheer. Ironically enough, they're both smiling to spare each other's feelings. Tsuzuki doesn't want to burden anyone just because of how he feels, and it looks like Roku has enough on his plate as it is.]

It must have been so chaotic there.

It was...definitely an experience. I've never been out fighting like that, so it was pretty rough the first few days. I've been taught that all life is important, so...even if the Third Party were the enemy I had a difficult time putting an end to them.

[He's never killed any sort of life outside of necessity like food.]

I understand that. I was drafted once and it was... hard.

[He hadn't even meant to kill the one he came across. It had been an accident. But it still felt terrible.]

I don't think I'll ever get used to having to kill.

It's hard to avoid that when the other side doesn't listen. [He can only imagine what Aang must be going through right now.]

...I'm Roku by the way. What's your name?

[Considering all the other things they're thinking of now, some forgetfulness as bound to happen.]

Nice to meet you, Tsuzuki. And well, I came here in May, but I've been here long before that.

[Both his eyebrows rise on his forehead.]

Yea! I was here about two years ago. Funny that it's exactly the same amount of time I spent at home too.

Mastering the elements! Or well, mastering the element of air at least. Ever heard of airbenders?

No. [He's met benders before, but he's certainly not good at remembering terminology like that.]

What can airbenders do?

Airbenders can manipulate the air around them, create wind and such. It's uh, a little hard to demonstrate it on here.

You mean like how air gods make the wind blow?

I...guess it's something like that? The air nomads didn't learn it from gods, but flying bisons.

What are bisons like?

Big and fluffy. We got one living here in Luceti if you ever want to meet one. His name is Appa and he belongs to Aang.
