[Roku had returned from the draft when the evacuation was called. As much as he wanted to help those who were left behind...he knew he wasn't physically or mentally able to do much else at this point. He would have just been a burden to the others. The decision still left a heavy feeling of guilt on him, like he was abandoning people. He was the Avatar, being unable to save others is sort of not an option.

He wasn't really paying attention to where he was actually going this entire time and somehow found himself...literally lost. Where did all this fog come from? He tries to retrace his steps, but all he kept seeing was trees. Well it's safe to assume he's in some part of the forest.

Wait, he's a firebender, he can just light his way through this forest. Right. Course when he gets a little bit of light around the area, he jumps at what the light revealed in the shadows. That...that really wasn't something he needed to be seeing after a draft. Was that thing laughing at him....? He shuffles around the forest for a bit, before pulling out his journal.]

[Voice]

Hey uh...quick question to anyone who knows this. When people...die here, they come back alive after a week right? And not as ghosts...right?

[all the while he asks about this, some of the ghosts decide it would be funny to throw things at him. Toilet paper, seriously? What is going on around here? At some point he's going to remember he had brought his glider and find his way back to the village and to House 56. He might look slightly mummified with all those toilet paper thrown at him.]

[First ghost, now a skeleton. He would honestly be a little more jump but he's pretty worn out from the draft, so he's just gonna look flabberghasted.]

Can't say I was. Actually, I haven't been in any drafts, although some of my friends were.

Did...did you come from the same place as the ghosts too?

Well that would really depend upon where the ghosts came from, wouldn't it? My world did have a few ghosts in it so it's possible. However, I'm not really dead in the same sense they are, if you follow my meaning. I mean, for starters, I actually have a physical body.

I think we're probably getting a little aside from the point though. I think the point we're trying to come to is... I come in peace. Yohohoho!

[Ahah, yea thanks. It ease a little bit of his nerves at least. Why does it feel like he's spoken to this skeleton before...that laugh seems familiar at least.]

Oh it's quite possible that you have. I've been told by several people here that I've been here once or twice before. Although I oddly have no recollection of these events, which... makes me a little sad given the friends I seemed to have made when I was here last. But! As long as I become even better friends with them than I was before, there shouldn't be a problem! Yohohoho!

A pleasure to meet you Avatar Roku. What exactly are you an Avatar of?

Uh well, I sort of represent the spirit of the world where I'm from. There's always one of us existing at one time and it's our duty to master all the elements and keep balance in the world.

[A small chuckle] Funny enough, I'm actually not the only Avatar here. There's also Aang whose's after me, and then there was Korra who came after Aang.

Wow... that sounds like a big job. What exactly do you mean by master the elements though?

So you're reincarnated every time you die? That sounds... handy. Although I suppose you're never exactly the same.

In our world, we have people who are able to manipulate the elements, earth, fire, water and air. They're called benders. The Avatar is special in that they're able to bend all the elements instead of just one. I was just a firebender before I found out I was the Avatar.

Additionally, the Avatar reincarnation goes in a cycle base on the elements. Aang is an airbender, and Korra is a waterbender. After her, an earthbender would take her place and then it goes back to a firebender.

Wow... you sound pretty powerful.

So does that mean that the element that each of you started off with is your specialty? And is each incarnation of the Avatar aware of the past lives of each incarnations?

Haha, I'm still just an Avatar in training. I haven't learned all the elements yet.

And yea, I guess you can say that. I was born in the Fire Nation, so fire is kinda our element. And we sort of do. Though, I've only just started to connect with them...Aang is better at reaching them than I am.

Oh, really? So you're just a fledgling Avatar then? Have you been able to start learning the other elements yet?

I do know how to airbend! And I've been working on water since I got here, but I haven't had much luck with that.

[It's true what they said about opposite elements]

Wait... you were saying that there are reincarnate Avatars from your future or whatever, here in Luceti? Has anyone... told you about your future? That could be some very rare and interesting insight right there.

[He laughs] Oh yea, I was told a lot of things. Things that happened a hundred years after my time. [Some good, mostly bad]

Most of it I learned from Aang's friends since he wasn't really around the first time I was in Luceti.
