[Roku was finally returning from his mission for the Malnosso today, tired and just wanting to be back in his familiar bed and sleep. Course, that may have wait a bit after he sees the condition of Luceti. Well, more like he step into a massive puddle.

It was like someone had dumped a lake on top of Luceti. And wow some of the damage he was seeing on the buildings. What the heck happened while he was away? Soo despite how tired he was, he may just wander around a bit, poke a few people while he's on his way back to the house--try to avoid stepping into more puddles.

When he does finally get back to the house he'll just...drop the bag he had brought with him and stare at the damage.]

[Aang was sitting idly on the front lawn, idly Waterbending a puddle. But then he looked up and started to brighten a bit at the sign of a familiar face.]

Roku?

[flameoroku]

[He smiles when he spots Aang.] Hey, Aang. [He picks up his bag again and approaches. It's been almost a month now since that weird experiment, but the memories were still there like it was just yesterday. Let's not start with awkwards for now.]

Something tells me I've missed a lot.

[He gets up, skips across the puddle and hugs Roku. It had felt like a long time since he saw his bunkmate.]

Yeah, you've missed a whole lot.

[flameoroku]

[Aww Aang. You get a hug back too.] Well, it's really good to see you again.

I should have asked the Malnosso to bring me back sooner if there was going to be a bad storm like this.

[savedtheworld]

It's good to see you, too. [His smile fades at the mention of the storm. He steps back.]

I wish I had been here, too. I could have done some actual good.

[flameoroku]

You weren't here? [...and after that conversation with Sokka.]

Did the Malnosso take you up to space too?

Yeah. They... they took all of us except for Zuko.

[flameoroku]

[S2 Zuko Alone.]

I haven't seen him yet, but I hope he's doing all right. What about you?

[savedtheworld]

He's okay. And I'm... a lot of things happened up there.

[flameoroku]

A lot of things? All I know is that you were all fighting the Third Party up there.

[savedtheworld]

[He gives a quiet nod.]

It was really different then the way we fought back home. There was a lot of... a lot of death.

[flameoroku]

[A frown.]

...Are you going to be all right?

[savedtheworld]

I... I think I can be.

[He looks up to Roku's eyes.]

But... I went into the Avatar State, Roku.

[flameoroku]

...[He wasn't sure what to say to that. He knows what it's like to be in the Avatar State and he's sure Aang could tell he was familiar with it. He places a comforting hand on his shoulder.]

Do you want tell me what happened? I won't force you, if you don't want to.

[He felt uncertain about it, but Roku still was a comforting force for him. And Aang felt like this was something that should be discussed with the other Avatar.]

Can we sit down first?

[flameoroku]

[A nod]

I'll follow you.

[savedtheworld]

Okay. [He walks back to the house to try to find somewhere to sit, quietly asking Roku a question in the meantime.]

How was your thing?

[flameoroku]

Very hot. I basically had to guard all the crops being moved and it's really hot working out in the fields. We had a few people pass out.

[savedtheworld]

[Nothing involving killing. Aang gives a light smile as he grabs some chairs.]

That sounds pretty rough. But at least now you have all the refreshing water you could ask for.

[flameoroku]

[He laughs] Yea, if only could actually waterbend it.

[And he does a motion, but...none of the puddles move. He sighs and then joins Aang once the chairs are placed]

You will, eventually. We'll make sure of it.

[He sits down in his chair and assumes a more serious posture, looking around to make sure none of the housemates are nearby.]

[flameoroku]

[And the atmosphere soon felt a little heavy around, as if nature knew something serious was about to go down. Once they're sure they were alone...]

What happened up there?

[savedtheworld]

[He takes a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking.]

Everything up there was so horrible, and there was so much death. And I got... trapped in this perfect dream world where the only way out was by... attacking something that was disguised as Katara. All of that... it made me lost control, and I entered the Avatar State. I... it tried to kill all the Cultists and Malnosso it could find. And... [A slight sob] it almost attacked Katara too. The real one. But she... she calmed me down.

[flameoroku]

[Roku sits there quietly and listens to what Aang had to say. He looked a little sick by the end of his explanation.]

That's awful. I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through that. [...you've got him dreading about being caught in a draft one day. And Aang...he's familiar enough of air nomad customs to know an event like that would go against everything he was taught. Though killing is still bad however you see it.

He stands and comes forward to give Aang a comforting hand on his shoulder.] I don't think I could have stopped myself if I did the same thing to someone important to me.

[It feels a little better to get it all out there. And to have his previous life's comfort. He looks up towards Roku.]

Thanks for understanding. I still just feel so ashamed of myself for losing control like that. You... you haven't ever entered it yet, right?
