[Roku is spending some time today to practice a bit of waterbending outside the house. Well not so much bending water, but going through the motions again. He can't wait for the others to teach him everytime and...things have been complicated as is with everyone, so he rather not bother to ask about his training. It's just...disappointing when you can't waterbend after months of training. And today didn't seem like it was going to be much different than the other times he has attempted.

As it got closer to lunch hour, he decides to call it, feeling pretty defeated at this point. As he reaches for the door, a bit of snow that had build up on the roof, decided to fall towards Roku. Even the weather wanted to tease him for his failures, but he's not going to to let it without fighting back. So with a look of determination, he raises his hands and goes through the motion. He honestly doesn't think it was going to work, so he braces for the worse. But it didn't come. He waited, and there was nothing. He opens one eye and then the other. The snow was splattered onto floor to this left. That...that is the same snow that was falling right? Roku could barely register what had happened. He looks around, making sure this wasn't Aang or Katara's doing. He turns back to the snow. He did it, it definitely did it. It was definitely not a fluke, but he has to try again. Just...just to make sure. Sometime simple. Just a very simple waterbending technique and--]

Whoa-!! [The snow quickly raises and then plops on top of Roku. He meant the snow to go the other way not--...wait, he moved the snow]

I...I did it. [There's a bit of wary laughter of disbelief.] I actually did it! [He just laughs, turning back around and falling right on into the snow. Suddenly, he was so happy to have all this snow around him! So much for the lunch break.

Anyone passing by House 56 will get to see a bit of snow being thrown up and shaped oddly like waves. Residents might....find the front of the house almost covered in snow. He may be able to bend the snow, but that doesn't mean he knows how to actually direct it properly. But he doesn't seem bothered by this at the moment. He's just happy he can bend the snow at all.]

[Come Saturday and Roku was out and about already, pretty much in a very good mood. He's not the least bit bothered by the increasing number of people around the town today.

...Ok, maybe he is a little puzzled by some of them. Where were their wings? He might say hi to a few people here and there as he stops by the barracks]

So who got a mean throwing arm and wants to have a snowball fight? [Aka, let me practice my bending by deflecting snowballs back at people.]


[Jan 27th]

[Sunday, Roku is chilling out at the hot springs. Two days out playing in the snow was valid enough reason for a trip. Surely no one told the visitors how to reach this place right?

Once he's spent some time there, he'll be going to the tea shop sometime in the evening.]
